Happy Valentine's Day,

You don't need to send a dozen roses, (although I DO love flowers,) heart shaped chocolates, (although I DO love heart shaped boxes of chocolates), or any extravagant pleasures, A paper heart that says I love you will do!

PURPLE

Purple! Such a great color :)
I had purple flowers left from a sample I did for a wedding so I brought them home...

A Kaleidoscope Of color in Ranunculas and Tulips

 This is a vase of flowers I plunked on the table the other day. Just a simple, random bunch of tulips and ranunculas.
It is as natural for me to have flowers around as it is to breath;
I am never without them.
  I don't know how people can live without flowers.
 "you need food to nourish your body, and beauty to nourish your soul" ~ spoken as a true artist!
How can one live without such beauty?

Emily and Eric @ the Pierre Hotel....

Emily knew she wanted all white blossoms in the winter, ~ she also knew she wanted tree branches reaching from table to table to create a bower for the guests to sit and walk under....Her mom knew she wanted a large full centerpiece, ("I like alot of flowers!") and Eric (the groom) well, he just wanted a boutonniere!

Emily wanted to give the guests a petite jar of preserves with their names and the date on each of 6 varieties that were made by a charming shop near their house on Martha's vineyard, and the Pierre had mini croissants made so we could put 2 in each box for the guests to take with them when they left @ 2a.m.!
Sylvia Wienstock's ALWAYS amazing cakes!

of Course, Chris Edmonds and Bill Spinner from the Pierre Hotel did a flawless job as always...
