What a thunderstorm we had! How lucky for me to have picked this last bouquet of snowballs, azalea, and bleeding heart before the rains took them away! Well, now onto summer garden surprises.
I know it isn't Summer ~ yet ~ but I can barely wait for the buzz of dragonflies and the warm smell of a grassy field of wildflowers. As a child in Maryland, we used to always find ways to grow a world in miniature using a glass vessel like a pickle jar or such. It was tantamount to catching fireflies in a jar with holes in the lid...Don't you love those lazy Summer days? What are your best memories of the golden season of sun?
